Product Introduction: This product is used for testing automotive 4PIN/5PIN relays. The device is a handheld unit, equipped with a 1-meter long positive and negative insulated clip. The car battery must be a 12V battery, with the voltage ranging from 11V to 15V. Working power supply: DC 12V/1A Working temperature: -20°C to 60°C To test a 4-pin relay, select 4-pin mode and press the TEST button. To test a 5-pin relay, select 5-pin mode and press the TEST button. ✔ Green light → indicates the relay function is normal. Basic Operating Procedure: Connect the instrument to the car’s 12V battery, insert the relay, set the switch to the appropriate mode, press the power button, and then press the test button. The tester will automatically check the pins, release time, and relay consistency during each test phase. If the tester shows a green light (✔), the relay is functioning normally. If the tester shows a red light (❗), the relay is malfunctioning. Operation Instructions: Attach the power clips to the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals of the car battery. Slide the switch to select either “4PIN” or “5PIN” for the corresponding automotive relay (4-pin or 5-pin). Insert the appropriate relay into the slot, then press the power button. Press the TEST button. The device will perform 10 closing tests. The LED indicator will show a green light (✔) if the relay passes, or a red light (❗) with an alarm sound if the relay fails. Once the test is complete, press the “POWER” button to turn off the device.
