AUTOOL AST609 Brake Fluid Changer Operation Steps:
(Warning: The specifications in the safety guidelines must be strictly complied).
- Before start the operation, pay attention to the vehicle manufacturer’s tips on maximum filling pressure and special work instructions.
- For each vehicle model, the manufacturer’s guidelines for emptying the brake equipment are always valid.
- If the manufacturer’s guidelines for emptying brake equipment don’t specify a working pressure, this brake fluid exchanger offers two modes: Standard (1.5-2.0 bar, 5 minutes) and Fast (2.0-2.5 bar, 3 minutes).
- The standard mode is defaulted when switch on. Switch to the specific working pressure as needed, ensuring it is in a non-working state during the switch.
- Install the additional adapter, or select the appropriate adapter according to the instructions, on the vehicle’s brake fluid container.
- Connect the filling hose to the installed adapter.
- Lift the car to the right height, unscrew the drain valve on the brake sub-cylinder, and connect the old oil bottle.
- Turn on the switch and press the “Start” button. Ensure the adapter on the brake fluid container is in the proper position and sealed. If there is brake fluid overflow, press the “Stop” switch immediately and find out the cause.
AUTOOL AST609 Brake fluid changer Initial start-up procedure:
Warning: In any case, air-emptying must be performed at the first start-up.
- Place the brake fluid exchanger firmly on a flat surface.
- Unscrew the filling sealing cover of the top cover of the fresh fluid bottle.
- Pour new brake fluid into the new fluid bottle and insert the suction hose and pressure balancing hose into the new fluid bottle up to the bottom.
- Place the new fluid bottle in the bracket of the brake fluid exchanger to prevent it from tipping over.
- Connect the power supply to the brake fluid exchanger and turn on the switch.
- Select the Standard mode, press the “Start” button, and turn off the power after 3 seconds working.
- Bleed the brakes by recovering fluid into a fresh bottle until all air bubbles are purged and the brake fluid stops overflowing.
