What type of air compressor is required to run AUTOOL HTS machines?
For optimal blasting performance, we recommend a screw or heavy reciprocating air compressor with a minimum output of 7.5 HP to 15 HP (delivering 0.6 to 1.2 m³/min air flow at 6 to 10 bar pressure) equipped with a refrigerated air dryer to ensure clean, dry compressed air.
Does dry ice blasting damage sensitive rubber hoses or painted surfaces?
No. Dry ice is soft (1.5 - 2 on Mohs hardness scale), making it non-abrasive. By dialing down the blast pressure and adjusting pellet feed speed, you can safely clean soft silicone vacuum lines, wiring insulation, and OEM engine bay stickers without peeling or pitting.
